Who the REP AB-3100 is for, in our reading of the spec sheet: Budget buyers who want a three-post flat/incline bench with a published 700 lb capacity and a 7.9 sq ft footprint. Skip it when need decline or a 1,000 lb rating; REP states there is no decline position and the capacity is 700 lb.

Who the REP AB-5200 2.0 is for: Lifters who want a closed-ladder 17.5-inch IPF-height bench with standard or 14-inch CleanGrip pads and optional decline. Skip it when Buyers who want steeper built-in decline or leg-roller compatibility; REP says the 2.0 is not compatible with the Leg Roller Attachment.

If ceiling height is the constraint, prefer the shorter published frame and then run Will-It-Fit with your ceiling, your height, and the exercise. HAJEX’s standing-press rule of thumb is height × 1.33 plus about 9 in for full-size plates. A rack that “fits the room” on assembled height can still fail a pull-up if there is not about a foot above the bar.
